A 16-week PMP study plan covers roughly 150 hours at ~9 hours per week. The sweet spot for most working PMs. 9 hours per week is sustainable and leaves time for meaningful mock exam practice.
A visual preview of how exclam.ai turns this 16-week PMP plan into daily domain work, flashcards, quizzes, review, and mock streaks.
A 16-week PMP plan splits into four phases: Foundations, People domain drilling, Process + Business Environment drilling, and Mocks & review. Upload your PMP study materials and exclam.ai schedules each phase automatically as a fully guided plan.
Read the PMP Exam Content Outline end to end. Watch a full video course (Andrew Ramdayal, Joseph Phillips, or David McLachlan). Set up your exclam.ai workspace with your uploaded PMBOK or Rita Mulcahy PDF. Build foundational flashcards on PM terminology, principles, and performance domains.
Drill the 14 People tasks. Focus on servant leadership, conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, and team empowerment. Practice situational questions heavily — People questions are judgment-based, not fact-based. Daily FSRS flashcard reps.
Drill all 17 Process tasks + 4 Business Environment tasks. Cover predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches. Pay extra attention to Business Environment if studying for the July 2026 exam — its weight tripled from 8% to 26%. Practice mixed-domain questions.
Full-length timed mock exams every 3–5 days. Same-day error review: re-derive every missed question. Focus flashcard reps on your weakest tasks. Final week is a light taper — no new material, only review.
All three PMP domains, weighted according to whichever exam (current 2021 ECO or new 2026 ECO) you are sitting. Click any domain for a full task-level breakdown.
